Where we are

On the beach and deep in the tropical vegetation, the Mangrove Lodge is the ideal getaway for your relaxing holiday. It is a perfect starting point to visit the spice farms, Stone Town and Prison island and Bawe for snorkelling, as well as the whole island, while still offering the beach and an enchanting hideaway to avoid the hassles of the capital.

The village of Chuini is situated on the west coast of the island in the Magharibi District. In the surrounding rural area of Zanzibar Town, the capital of Unguja, more precisely it is situated only 15 km north of Stone Town: 30 minutes by car from the old town and 40 minutes from the airport.

The Lodge is in the spice farms and plantations area off the beaten track, famous for its lush vegetation, secluded beaches with ancient Arabic sites and close to Mangapwani slave chambers and cave, Jozani and Masingini Forests.
