If you are around between 9-17th July be sure to check out the Zanzibar International Film Festival which takes place in nearby Stonetown.
As well as film there is a Dhow race to witness, music for your ears and dancing to be done. Films screened are from all over the world with the theme ‘Season of visions’, there is also live music, DJ’s and dance performances.
