We recently hosted a visitor from Kenya, Isaac Ouma who shared with us some ideas on waste management, in particular what to do with the rubbish as there is no disposal facilities in Chuini. It was an exciting time for us as we learned about practical ideas from someone who has implemented a program in a similar village in Kenya. Isaac, being a wildlife enthusiast and professional also captured a class of local primary school children with tales of the bush and educated them about protecting and respecting our wildlife and environment.
